WELCOME TO MY HOMEPAGE!

I am an Assistant Professor (TT) at the Department of Government at Uppsala University. Before that, I worked as Associate Senior Lecturer at Gothenburg University and as a postdoc at the University of Basel. I received my PhD from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. My main area of research focuses on comparative politics, more specifically minority cabinets and coalition governments, political parties, institutions, and corruption perception. From 2018-2024, I was a member of the steering committee of the ECPR Standing Group on Parliaments.

My work has been published, among others, in The Journal of Politics, Comparative Political Studies, European Journal of Political Research, and West European Politics and I have been awarded with the the Jewell-Loewenberg Prize (Comparative Politics) for the best paper published in Legislative Studies Quarterly in 2022. I am also proud to have been honored with the Credit Suisse Award for Best Teaching at the University of Basel in 2023.
