WELCOME TO MY HOMEPAGE!

Currently, I hold a Postdoc position at the Department of Political Science at the University of Basel. I received my PhD from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

My main area of research focuses on comparative politics, more specifically minority cabinets and coalition governments, political parties, institutions, and corruption perception. Since 2021, I am the chair of the steering committee of the ECPR Standing Group on Parliaments.

My research on minority cabinets has been awarded with the the Jewell-Loewenberg Prize (Comparative Politics) for the best paper published in Legislative Studies Quarterly in 2022. I am also proud to have been honored with the Credit Suisse Award for Best Teaching in 2023 at the University of Basel.

On this website, you can find information on my research, my publications, my teaching, and my CV. Feel free to explore more about my work and contributions.
